Activities
This center has conducted 6 short and medium-term training courses in cooperation with other organizations such as the Women Journalists Organization and the Afghanistan Media Organization and has given theoretical and practical training to more than 200 male and female journalists.
The following topics have been taught in these training courses:
- Videography
- Mobile journalism
- News writing
- Reporting
- Communication science and effective communication
This center held a meeting with the participation of all organizations supporting journalism and also donor organizations in the field of journalism at UNIMA’s headquarters in Kabul, so that all three sides shared their views on ways to grow and strengthen freedom of expression, access to information and free media activity. To mediate in Afghanistan.
JCTC has actively participated and presented its views in seminars and meetings organized in order to present ideas for improving the state of freedom of expression and access to information. This center has also stood and played a role in the freedom of journalists from prison along with other organizations defending the rights of journalists.
